I agree.... the poster about being selfish is wrong about less officers.... right now there are approximately 100 officers per shift METRO WIDE...... you go to 12 hour shifts and you will have an extra 100 officers.... so u could have 4 more officers per shift per division....and if that gets me more time off to recoup from a tough, difficult, stressful job THAN SO BE IT.... if 12 hour shifts every happen, the dept CAN'T make foo foo units or take the extra officers away. Several detective units could be reduce by a few..
