Good Luck Chief. You have the potential to be the first chief to be the true leader of LMPD. If you are serious about listening to the officers, go to the roll calls and ask the command to leave the building, and start an open dialogue. You may be surprised at what you hear.

And don't forget this city has changed drastically in the past ten years, and in many ways so have the officers.

The car situation will be getting worse. He might go back to the old city way where you had to have 3-5 years before you get a take home car. Just watch and wait you will see.
