LMPD officer accused in disturbance resigns

The suspension is under review because of new evidence. It may be better or it may be worse, but from the tone of the article it looks like it's going to be worse. The firings and forced resignations as of late make it sound like the new Mayor or his staff is getting involved in the decisions.
