RE: LMPD officer accused in disturbance resigns
I agree. Let's all start over and cut out all the negative stuff if some body say somthing bad let's just not respond 2 it and sooner or later hopefully they will go away. Stay safe!

It's not all negative. I've seen posts here regarding Donnie Schraut's lifesaving measures for that elderly man awhile back. I've also seen posts about the cops in one division that got together to help a kid have a good Christmas. We still must acknowledge internally why negative stories end up here. And what about all the positive updates/articles regarding us winning the fight against the take-home car fees?
Was this arrest and resignation lmpd dot com's fault or Fanning's fault? I think the purpose in this site posting stories such as this are to be honest and transparent, unlike our city government. If police officer's are posting openly even the negative stories, leaving them open for discussion, it is showing that we don't hide or lie or try to bury things. That's the point. I strongly believe in maintaining this approach. It may digress and turn into a huge mess of drama, but that's each individual's fault for participating. I don't blame the site. (and no, I don't contribute to articles either)
