I agree with the last comment! We as LMPD personal can still represent the department with integrity and dignity. There is always one apple that trys to spoil the buch but alot more that make it even greater!

Oh but LMPD has a looooooong way to go if they want to operate with honor and integrity. If the public only knew how it is being ran.

I doubt it. More likely it's part of a deal for pre-trial diversion. Always remember that Kentucky is a state where political good old boys and girls are always looking to help out those who can return the favor. You see a little of it exposed in the newspaper every now and then, right before it's swept under the rug.

I am the original writer of the post. I stand behind what I said and believe the command staff took a stand on this one. Just because we don't hear what is going on behind the scene does not mean they are not addressing the issue. As for the rest of my post, I was merely saying we can still be proud of our chosen profession, and despite what the command staff does or how the political environment changes, we should remember what we do daily. We have a noble and responsible career meant for a few select individuals who are willing to make sacrifices for the betterment of the community. THAT, you can take pride in. Trees
