That's my point, WOULD you stay if it was a "better" place to work? What can the agency or the city do to make it a better place - give realistic examples. If you could retire, draw your pension and immediately go right back to LMPD, would you do it? (Several have.) For many, getting the pension AND continuing to work at policing is a raise, and that is their primary goal - they wouldn't retire if they couldn't go back to a policing job.
