I know some people did not see eye to eye with 2 cars but he did give us permanent off days and 10 hour shifts. EVERYBODY cries because they want it back and I know I would easily go back to patrol if all shifts were 10 hours. Our current administration wont even consider it department wide. I dont think it would be that bad if he came back. Just my opinion.

I hope that a new chief is chosen from within our ranks, and I hope it is a former county member. The reason I say that is because from what Ive heard the county officers were treated very well and got the worst end of merger as far as being taken care of ( I mean take home cars,10 hr shifts,etc.) Maybe an experienced former county member would remember those days and put things back like it was as far as that stuff goes.
