Investigation finds Gross Mismanagement in city government

Sounds like some deeply rooted anger issues. This is a POLICE sight not an armed military forces site. Police do face dangers on any given day. No one here is trying to compare police to military although a large part of the departments have previous military backgrounds. I am most grateful for the men and women in our armed services but that has nothing to do with this site. God Bless our men and women in all branches of the armed services, to the Police, EMS, Fire, Corrections, Dispatch, etc. We all appreciate all that you do for our community and country.

I have been in the military. I have been overseas while in the military. I have been in a combat zone while in the military. I have been shot at in anger in the military. I am now a police officer. Unlike you, I know the dangers faced in both professions. I know that as a police officer I am in harms way every day. It's not clear to civilians, (i.e. YOU) what the dangers are that a police officer faces, because civilians (YOU) have never done this job. You talk about us like you know what goes on every day, on every call, on every traffic stop. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT...Please leave this site and these forums to people who do know what we go through....which is US!
