Investigation finds Gross Mismanagement in city government

I agree. This website has been around for years and has never been a 1 issue website. It is a community for LMPD Officers, Firefighters, Corrections, EMS, Dispatchers, family friends. I have always enjoyed coming here because like in any business what goes on behind the scenes that the public never sees is vastly more significant to the end product then the things they want you to see.

Even Chief White states that perception is reality to the general public. For years abramson has gotten away with all of his crimes because he put on his big smiling face and threw a couple of parties for the community every year. He made every one thing that everything was rosey in the river city.

Corruption like in the Housing Agency and nepotism goes on in a lot of departmetns. Unqualified people are given plum political jobs and it is costing our community. The root of the problem is Abramson.

Here are a few questions for you Mr. Truck Driver:

Do you think hiring AJ Summers and Barret Tasman, son of the Deputy Mayor and his business partner was proper or improper?

If someone in your workplace were given plum positions and big salaries on parentage not qualifications would you sit by and not do anything?

If those people hired were not qualified and did their jobs so poorly that is cost your workplace would they still be employed? Do you think that the Mayor should be able to appoint unqualified people to positions as repayment for backing him in his election?

Should all positions in Metro Government go through a screening process and be open for bid to both the public or other Metro Employees?

I await your responses.

ALL corruption bothers me, however, I am amused at the depths to which you cops will sink to justify your OWN corruption, and refuse to be accountable for your own behavior, meanwhile you are complaining about the mayor refusing to be accountable, and calling him corrupt.

You dont follow the law as a "perk", but you complain about him taking more money for your cars, as a perk. Its called hypocrisy, and while I detest Abramson and have for his entire political career, I do love that he gets under your skin in the same way that your blatantly illegal and corrupt behavior gets under mine.

That being said, I would love to see Abramson thrown out of office, so in response to your question about corruption bothering me, I would say yes, moreso than it seems to bother you cops.
