FOP and Metro Government at odds over take home police cars

NOT EXACTLY! they have to document something that could possibly go against the contract. the shift positions are contractual. they just cant move you and then put someone else there without a very good reason. enforcing their ILLEGAL QUOTA SYSTEM is not a good enough reason. demand the documentation why you are moved . i am telling you, if you are on time ,you make your runs, do what you are required to do by law and policy,(making a certain number of arrests is not in policy because it is illegal to put a number on how much an officer does- its called a quota, look it up) they can not justify moving you. they have gotten away with this before because officers were AFRAID to stand up for themselves, B.S.'d by C.O.'s who told them it could be done. screw them. push this issue if it affects you, stand your ground! if our f.o.p. would have had any ba!!s when this started we would nt be having this conversation.
