Seceral years on?? You're still a rookie! Seems offciers with a few years on all consider themselves veteran officers. Here is a clue, until you make double digits with time on you are still a rookie. If you can't make it without off duty, court pay or OT then you are living above your means, a common problem in Police work. All those extra checks should be just that extra.
