I say this person should be tased for talking about what he knows nothing of, I have been tazed and held ones who have been tased, YOU DONT FEEL ANYTHING WHEN HOLDING unless you touch the wires

Sorry, buddy, not EMS - maybe you should contact Taser, they'll tell you different. (I know, I did.) It doesn't always happen, lots of variables involved, but you can get a shock from pass-through. It'll be less, because it is passed through, but it is possible. Also depends upon how you are grounded, the officers you mention are standing up and probably not well grounded, but if you are rolling around on the ground, you don't have the protection of rubber soled shoes and the like, and you are nicely grounded. Please tell me that you missed that safety class about the dangers of electricity? Yes, it is less than a defib, but it is still a hefty jolt, that's the point.

You mean that LMPD officers DON"T get trained in how to use an AED like every other cop in Kentucky? What about CPR? What else are you all not trained in - you don't learn how to do fingerprints, you don't learn how to use the Intox, you don't get certified in radar, what else don't you guys get? Do you learn how to give the implied consent warning?
