Just remember "metro safe" during election time. The news reported the mayor was going to ask that the 2.5mil left in the budget go to the ali museum. That would be a nice chunk of change to go towards our radio system.

And if they'd written a decent grant app they would have gotten it, instead of the sloppy mess that didn't give a timeline and that failed to demonstrate how it would be coordinated with the rest of the community.

But why should the feds pay for a radio system that should have been merged years ago? We've been paying 911 fees for years and years, where's the money? Wonder if anyone has ever done an audit on that fund?
