As a citizen, I'm confused. Are you telling me that it IS OK to attend FOP meetings on duty? I can't attend such meetings while on duty, and I'm NOT an emergency responder!
Why not do it like most of the volunteer fire departments do it, have one night meeting and one day meeting, every week? (Or something similar.) Maybe tape the meetings and have those available for members to borrow? Really get fancy and put it up online on streaming video?
