You do have to contact me in order for me to answer questions. If they are just floating around out there or not directed my way then I don't know about it.

Parking problem: Yes it is a huge hassle. I contacted COl. Conrad about it after the memos started comming out and it seems that Metro Government won't repaint the "POLICE" spaces & won't repave the lot because good ole Mayor Jer hasplans on selling the lot!

As far as other people parking over there, ANY Lodge 614 Member can park there. If they are retired or working, it doesn't matter. What you or any other Officer can do is if you see someone that is parking there, check the tag and if you are unsure whether or not it is one of our members, call out to the Lodge 968-0117 and ask Tessa, Betty or Anita. If they aren't an FOP 614 member then TOW the car! You fill out a waiver tow, because the Police Spaces are negotiated in our contract.

I asked President Dotson last month to send letters to other agencies to help with the problem, because nobody wants to tow another Officer's marked car from another agency.

Roughly halff of the money you pay in dues goes to lyour legal defense protection. All monies are thouroghly documented in the Treasurer's monthly report which is available at meetings and at the Lodge. That information will never be put on the website for public access, but as a member you can obtain a copy.
