Lexington Metro Officers Fatally Shoot Armed Domestic Violence Suspect

I absolutely agree with the above comment. I do not work for Metro but I respect and appreciate those who do. Special interest groups that support this type of behavior when law enforcement personel must protect themselves actually play a part in getting these individuals killed. This type of disregard for authority is more common place than ever before. If these issues are not addressed by those of us that respect the law , more of these acts will follow. I have personally backed up Metro officers on felony stops and respect each and every officer.....I must however say that I am glad that I do not work under the circumstances that they must. Whatever happened to the day where responsible officers were given the benefit of the doubt by the agency they worked for and the media ?

Coming from a long line of police officers i understand the dangers faced everyday. sometimes we may have to use deadly force in a situation and that is made clear from the beginning. I hope that everyone understands this and support thier local police. God bless the officers and the family of the victim.
