A lot of these people are easily fooled by politicians who need to keep them angry to guarantee they vote a particular way. They need to keep them dependent on handouts and keep them from ever advancing themselves and becoming independent of these politicians. Dependency is the real enemy. You grow up in the projects with a mother who never worked, a father who you never knew, and everyone around you telling you there's no hope of ever making something of yourself, so live for today and steal or sell dope and take as much dope as you can. In 1814 the chains were physical. Today they are financial and psychological. The only hope anybody in the hood has is to get out and never look back. The slavemasters today are the politicians selling the lie that they are out to help African-Americans when they are exploiting them. At least you know where the right-wing stands.
