Man charged with attempted murder of officers |
RE: Man charged with attempted murder of officers
Good Lord! Get over yourself, seriously!! This was a discussion about the dangers that officers face every day and night at work. How it managed to turn into a high school-esque pissing match about grammar usage us beyond me! I agree, there are some officers' whose report and citation writing leaves a lot to be desired, but to be honest I'd rather have an officer who'll stay behind me in a foot or car chase, who'll face down a suicidal gun wielding maniac with me, or who'll help me pull a child and mother out of a burning vehicle (and these arent hypothetical... These are situations I've found myself in during my career). All the English degrees in the world won't make you fit to do this job. Some of the best beat cops out there are former military with a high school education. I'm sure a snob such as yourself will look down your nose at people like this, but knowing the when the appropriate time to use "who" or whom" isn't everything. Before you hop up on your grammatically correct high horse, I have a masters level education. I'm proud of it, but I can't say it's made me a better officer. That's something that comes from within yourself, not from a text book.

RE: Man charged with attempted murder of officers
is I less important den u is cuz i cant master a language dat ain't even mine? English is borrowed from another country. We (americans) speak another language all together hence the term American English. Go to East coast where there are "cahz" not cars. Idears not ideas, here in Kentucky it's usually called an ideal not idea. What does it matter? I fail to see your argument that poor writing/speaking skills are to blame for freeing criminals! If a Judge releases a doucher becuz I wrote becuz not because then shame shame on them, no comma on frickin purpose....enjoy your outdated and not needed degree!
