The money is not there. How many times does this argument have to be said. The city is not raking in money hand over fist. Over 40% of Louisville's population is under the poverty line. That makes for bad business when it comes to collecting taxes. The line of those not contributing to society and paying taxes and depending on government assistance grows every year. I have seen people offered jobs, and they say no, i get unemployment for another 6 months, I get SSI, and other govt money, why should I work. White or black, they will keep voting for those who give them handouts. Vote buying plain and simple.
