Maybe I just don't know what to look for, but the guys mugshot doesn't look like he got repeatedly punched in the face... or as he put it "he just started stealin me and stealin me"... Insert eye roll here. I've seen people who got beat up during an arrest (some warranted, some not) and they all looked far worse than this guy and it was apparent they took a beating.

I'm sure you periodically check this site just to see what people are saying. Well, consider this. For some reason I believe this man. I believe you DID back up and started the confrontation because he told you to slow down. Your ego was a little bruised and you needed to show who was toughest, right? Now, your dumb arse is sitting in limbo wondering what the ramifications of your actions will be. This guy will get over his encounter with you, but after all this I'll bet you wont pull another stunt like that. People like you usually don't last that long on the police department. You'll recover from this, but in about 8 years you'll be at it again. Then, you'll be either fired or arrest and both.
