I believe that we are not allowed to have floor mats on the drivers side due to some dumb a $$ claiming his floor mat got stuck under the accelerator and caused the accident they were in.......seems like that came out a year or two ago!

the floor mats do stick in the pedal!!!!!! been there done that.

I actually gave up having a take home 4 years ago and I don't regret it at all. At first youre thinking what a dumb thing to do, but once I got used to it I don't want another one--ever. We are under a lot of stress already and even having that radio on when you are off keeps you in the police mindset. I drive my Subaru with a peace of mind. I say stop be a slave to your 11 year old car that they try to bully you with, you don't need it.

Wow, you bought floor mats??? Ok, chalk it up to you equipment allowance. I have purchased so much more than that for my cars over the years... Heck I clean my own car with my own vacuum (should I whine and cry that I had to buy a vacuum?)

For those of you who are complaining about the car issue, please feel free to turn it in and drive your own vehicle. I'm tired of seeing police sitting in their cars working a second job, cars running all the time and burning up the gas that I pay for. You guys are so spoiled. Park your car and let someone who appreciates it drive it. Remember, you asked to be police officers. Floor mats?? Really?? Ugggggggh!
