The difference from military and what our command does. In the military, command is held accountable for how they treat thier subordinates. Our command does not.

What you do while off-duty is not within their control unless you're in a department vehicle, you're acting as a police officer at an off-duty job, or if you witness a crime in progress. Memorize the policy manual. Their intimidation tactics don't work so well if you have a better understanding of policy than they have.
