Merit board reduces suspension of officer who ticketed 7-year-old

I agree to a point. You earn respect, it's not demanded. I will respect the rank on the uniform and always will, but I sure as he,ll don't have to respect the person who is in it. I'm sorry but this command is so far away from the workers in this dept it make one sick. Again all they care about is there position and pocketbook. Maybe we can have a rollcall in front of a crackhouse in the westend, what a joke. To the officer from Detroit if i'm sure it's better here than there, but if you don't like what u see Go Back you won't be missed. Everyone knows we are nothing to this city but a number and expense and until this mentality goes away this dept will never be what it could be. When you have an ass't chief holding PERSONAL vendettas against officers then she needs TO GO PERIOD. Again until this front office is cleaned out completely this dept will not change.
