I agree with your sentiment, however - can we pls quit comparing this department to the military? Two different animals. Good officers will act like good officers regardless of where they are currently working. I have transported for many, and had some transport for me. It is all about teamwork anyway. If you have someone trying to take advantage your backseat all the time; figure out how to become unavailable when that individual needs help. They will figure it out.
