Hey any truth to the rumor that the chief left his city vehicle at the airport and that it was filthy?

why does this one guy always bash Fox? I have known plenty of people that worked for him in the past and never heard he was a backstabber. What gives??

Every year around this time you hear it on the news:

"Police are stepping up patrols looking for drunk drivers from New Years parties."

Could there be a bigger lie told either by the police department to the news or is it the news lying all by themselves? If the public only knew. There will be nothing special about LMPD at that time. Same shortage of cars, no overtime, no special memos. It's the same lame lie each year hoping the public just believes it and just do the right thing and not drive drunk.

Does anyone know who all applied for the chiefs job? I have heard about 6-8 names but those were just rumors.

Has our FOP asked why SPI is doing the review of candidates? It seems that they would have an obvious conflict of interest, since they are going to want to choose one of their graduates to take the position. After all if a candidate has attended the FBI National Academy or Northwestern, do you think SPI will give their credentials the same weight?

I would hope the FOP has asked, scratch that, demands a place at the table and not just a lip service meeting with the Mayor and SPI.

After all, while I really want to give this mayor the benefit of doubt, it appears he has surrounded himself with the political sycophants of the previous administration and has been giving lots of lip service to others, only to be found to be speaking out of the side of his neck (the occupy people, Animal Services, MSD etc)

I wish Chief White would have fired the entire Department and started over. He was a good, decent man with morals and here for the community not himself and a bunch of drunk fop members. I have already been to Denver and applied. I hope I get hired so I can get away from the resit of you drunk, lazy, sorry excuse for Police Officers. I just pray Buckner makes Chief so Louisville can be once again a safe community to live in. He is the man for the job. It is about time the dominant race ran this city look what the others did.
