Good comment. A chief, or any police officer for that matter, doesn't have breasts or gonads and isn't black, white, or otherwise. We are all (or should be) "blue". Some are prettier, taller or stronger than others and some are dark blue or light blue or maybe even mixed blue…..but we are all blue.
