News to a friend of mine out there. Problem with the current program in Louisville is that the citizens do not see the value in it, as they only perceive it is to the officer's benefit, not the benefit of the community. It doesn't help when officers in street clothes drive past wrecks, etc., or drive their children around not legally secured. (Yeah, saw that one myself.) Every officer should be able to immediately state how many times they stop, assist, etc. and KEEP STATS. That's the only way to prove the value of the cars.
