Sixteen apply for Louisville police chief's post

If things are as you stated they are, how do you love your job as you also stated? I'm not being a smarta$s here either. What you said above, when heard from people outside of law enforcement, typically leads employees to strongly dislike their company and their job and seek other employment. It becomes almost suffocating to remain in that kind of environment. So what are the strengths that clearly overpower all the weaknesses you listed? Because obviously there are enough of them that you still love your job, right? I'm just asking for all of us to consider if you (or any of us) still LOVE our job, then there must be some pretty strong pros outweighing the cons side of the list.
