At least 600 DUI cases in jeopardy because of lapsed Breathalyzer certifications

I doubt that any police departments would be liable for this, so long as your arrest report is solid. However, I do think that the administration in Corrections will be getting a good lambasting for this, both in the press and in their pocketbooks. Unless the case involved a test refusal, I'm sure that the most serious charges to stick would be the likely traffic infractions that lead to the suspicion and testing for DUI.
