Hopefully this will not negatively affect those cases where the arrested persons blew well over the limit, and only affects those that are borderline. Something around the .10 mark. Wishful thinking.

How often is recertification required and how much actually changes? I find it hard to believe that that much can change on a piece of equipment that I assume is not replaced all that often. It's not like getting recertified in NCIC where the rules and procedures change from year to year.
