Candidates voice interest in Louisville police chief job

we can thank the PBL (Problem Based Learning) bs that they forced on this department as a better way to teach. Don't really care if you have college or not. I really think that this PBL stuff was and is just another way to make people feel good about themselves. I taught a class and one of the recruits was playing with his Ipod or similar device. When I brought it up I was told that is the way he takes notes. How about paying attention and writing it down on paper so you can actually look at who is talking? AT least make an attempt to appear that you are paying attention. They need to get back to basic teaching principals and stop thinking there is always a better idea.
