I WAS HOPING THE NEXT CHIEF WOULD BE FROM THE OUTSIDE. THAT WAY THEY HAVE NO FORMER TIES TO THE FORMER JCPD OR LPD. CURRENTLY THE LMPD IS MADE UP OF 70% METRO 20% LPD AND 10% JCPD. WE NEED FRESH EYES FROM THE OUTSIDE!

Maybe he can research the base pay of the officers and compare it to the base pay of offiers of other agencies it the area (st. Matthews and j-town, etc) or compare it other agencies of our size. Heck the 'ville gets off cheap.

Ok Jake is a pretty decent and honest journalist, and I have to agree with what he is saying here!!! Go to this and attend, after all we are tax paying members of the community too!
