There is a huge difference my friend. Interacting with one individual on several occasions with the same outcome (he/she is a jerk) is reasonable evidence to suggest that the person is a jerk or at least has the tendency to act like a jerk. However, interacting with several different police officers on several different occasions, even if the individual officers you dealt with were all jerks, is not reasonable evidence to suggest that 1200 police officers are jerks.
