That was very very well stated and I couldn't have said it better myself. I've been on the receiving end of completely false gossip and I've also been the perpetrator of gossip (in my younger days). I agree with you wholeheartedly. It becomes your character and one day, you realize gossip needn't just be false to be evil. There's a whole lot of truth that shouldn't be passed around either. And while like you I have my own opinions about plenty of things LMPD, I'll never be posting it in a public forum or making it the topic of my discussions. We could all be a little kinder to our fellow brothers and sisters, regardless of if we think they deserve it or not. How we treat people is about us not about them.
