I understand your POV. And tend to agree. My only argument is your reference to professional courtesy.. If I were SC or CB reading comments on here from people saying they wouldn't back me up if I called for help, I wouldn't want to extend them any "professional courtesy" either.

I think you need to learn what professional courtesy is. Professional courtesy is not letting YOU or your family break the law while others aren't. Professional courtesy is not putting one person above the law. How do you think former chief White and Jerry got away with so much. SOME of you have cried on here about how they haven't been charged with anything. Before any of you compare speeding to the crimes that some believe they've committed, understand that laws are laws. Professional courtesy is what's wrong with this country. Look at federal, state and local government. My father was on with LDP back in the 70's, 80's and 90's. He's told me the stories of what happened back then. Things change, cameras in cars, text alerts sent to phones on "news alerts". I don't know SC or CB, but if you are really bitching because they are doing their job, maybe that's part of the problem you all have in your LMPD. Tell your spouse, kids or whoever you consider "family" not to speed.
