Wow, that is alot of research.

My problem is not with the constables having law enforcements powers, but rather that this guy treats it like he should act like a law enforcement officer. Let's be real. Constables, in Kentucky, are an antiquated relic of the KRS. There was a need for them 100 years ago, but not since then. The elected position pays next to nothing and the negligible responsibilities of the elected reflect this. The position has been a haven for law enforcement wannabes who could not get on recognized law enforcement agencies.

Now I am sure that someone can point out instances of constables who do not fit this profile, but in reality, most do.
