Don't get worked up. Am I the only one that sees the sarcasm dripping from the original post? BTW – we have a violent crimes unit so why don't they just work 2000-0400 in the target areas and save paying the overtime to folks working all these details instead of pulling them from patrol. Then maybe someone can get a vacation day if they wish or not have one cancelled all the time.
