Maybe it is time to take a hard look at Training - and decide if LMPD is getting sufficient bang for its buck in doing its own training rather than making use of what Metro residents are already paying for elsewhere. How much investigative training to LMPD recruits actually get? Do they learn about photo paks, interrogation, etc.? (I say recruits because obviously, they aren't getting it when making detective.)
