Why is it looked down on to be in patrol?

Everyone from below Sgt is the same rank.

I know some like to feel like they are.

Just like every Marine is a rifleman, every officer should be patrol, at heart.

I remember many years ago watching a commander (LPD district Captain) - who by choice drove a marked car - pull over at a scene and assist the officer until they could get someone else there. He was on his way to a meeting but deemed it more important to assist the officer (who was trying to manage a bad crash with no help). He knew what it really meant to be a cop.

Was not meaning to knock Patrol. What I meant is that they should be shuufled to or busted down to where they will never supervise any other fellow officer again. But I still belive Marlowe needs to be out of Police work period. She is one of the reasons we have attorneys who make money by accusing us of falsifying evidence and wrongful convictions.
