Former LMPD detective gets backup during appeal for her job

Thank you!!!! Its about time someone said that "Just riding your beat and taking a report" is NOT WHAT YOU SIGNED UP FOR!! Go out and do some proactive policing. Serve your community like you would want to be served. If not...GET ANOTHER JOB. Oh, yes you will still be able to post your garbage on here, so It wont be that bad when you leave. There ARE still officers (majority) that want to get out and do their "real" jobs (i.e Lock people up, investigate things on their beat, get to know citizens, go to court, work dope, prostitution, serve warrants, write tickets...etc..) Quit blaming all of your iniquities on the system, bosses, chief and government AND LOOK IN THE MIRROR. Its you! Now suck it up, Charlene and get back to work
