Louisville Chief Robert White has fired 28 officers and disciplined hundreds

Because

(A) the Courier Journal knows that anything negative about the police sells papers. They didn't have a story so they created one.

and

(B) The CJ likes to brag about how wonderful Chief White is and may be setting him up for a new position for this fall. What was it again... Public Safety Officer or something similiar? I am sure someone will come along who remembers better than I do.

I think there needs to be a new case open to investigate the case of Pugh lying about a Sgt's directions. There were 3 officers who witnessed the direction that a certain Sgt. gave Pugh and Pugh then carried out what his supperior advised him to do. So, if Pugh Didnt lie about what he was told to do, then somone must have. The 3 officers Know who they are and which Sgt lied to PSU.

Who cares about how many officers the chief has disciplined..besides him and CJ. We have more important things to be concerned with than that. The department has developed task forces for this and that and yet violent crimes are still going on and citizens still don't want to give us information to catch the criminals. No..the police can not be every where at the same time and prevent every crime. And yes we need help from the community. There are quite a few people that are the police bashing bandwagon, but do not help us do our jobs..... We are only human.
