This is what we waited so long for?

People shouldn't be working for free or working more than 40 hours without overtime, but neither should they be laying low and letting criminals go on a rampage. If you have this mindset, then find another job. The badge says Louisville not Bob and Jerry's Police Department. These two useless turds will be flushed out of city government soon enough. Their behaviors shouldn't drive you to become unprofessional yourself. You owe the people of Louisville the services you swore to provide when you put on the badge. If you aren't up to that then take a hike. There are too many people on the department who are only here because they can't find a better paying job or love having a badge but aren't able to deliver on what the badge requires. They should never have been hired in the first place. There are some people on the department who lack the nerve to handle dangerous situations so they lay low and find any reason they can to justify it. The FOP should help them all locate new jobs so we can fill their spot with someone who's qualified.

We will, because we do it for the decent folks out there. Not for Jerry or whoever your whinning about. Your not a cop, just a lazy POS that is not on the same team as the rest of us who go out and give 150% serving our community. So, please quit since your so miserable and hate this job and community. If you need help moving to some other community you have a problem with help, alot of us own trucks and would be glad to escort you and yours outside of our jurisdiction, little man!!!

- I will keep giving it my best, because that is what I swore an oath befor my family, my country and my GOD to do. I will keep this oath because I honor that oath. I also would hope that YOU would do your best, because that citizen you bash might be my mother, father, sister, brother who only want the best for their families and who support law enforcement.

- Not always, most weeks I am dog tired. Yet I still strap on because it is part of what seperates me from YOU. I still feel good when the citizen actually says thank you. We are still part of one of the few professions in which we have the chance to realy to God's work by doing the right thing for others.

Anymous digs a little more and writes - "Besides- you have that shiny polyester uniform and that badge and gun still. That's all that matters right? Your a COP, by golly! Aren't you grand!!"

- You know, I could care less about the peices and parts of the uniform... But I am a POLICE OFFICER and I will honor my brothers and sisters in service by continueing to do what I can to make their lifes easier, and do what is right by them.

In the end, WE are POLICE. We chose this PROFESSION. I learned along time ago it is my brothers and sisters that will back me up.

I do not always like what is going on above me, or next to me, but I am still going to do my job to the best of my ability.
