This is what we waited so long for?

As much as I dislike the ruling on the issue of the money, Judge Perry followed the case, and made his decision accordingly. Our argument was that the money was taken out of the pay (POST TAX by the way) with out negotiations and contractual agreement. This means WE made the return of the money an issue for negotiations. It is what it is. Overall the decision (and I read the pdf online) is decent and in our favor.

When we get the money back I want the interest rate received by the fire fighters. Oh yeah, and I want my check in ONE payment with no taxes, since the city/state/fed already taxed us on that income (that's right readers, this is what will really hurt 'em). And with the proper legal argument made, this could be done. It will just take a bit longer.
