No they don't, only a few when you really look at it. Always the same guys signing up, but for the most part people now do not want to work the OT and it amazes you. Not arguing with you if you say most of the ones you know work all they can get. Good for them and you if you are grabbing what you can. Just hope they are not complaining if it is OT where they have to produce the dreadful stats that some of it requires. The same stats a good officer during their normal shift should be producing if they give a damn about their job and where they live. On the topic of OT you would think people would work it as much as they could because it pays better than most off duty, goes on the pension and you are better covered and protected. By the way, never worked daywork was not my thing, was a detective for a few years, but still chugging on latewatch if you were trying to be sarcastic or something. Plus there is nothing wrong if someone is on daywork if they have the time to do so, I am not mad at them, just not me.
