Wonderful! Maybe they can use some of that money to put a radio in my car now. It is ridiculous that there are no radios in the police cars only the portable that could get broken in a foot chase or fight etc. There are 2 radios in each ambulance. the paramedics also carry portables. There are radios in other emergency vehicles, just not in Police cars. We have spent over 70 million on a system that won;t help anyone of something happens to the Officers radio. Remember there is no such thing as after hours at the transmitter/repair shop because Abramson doesn't believe that Anyone needs anything after hours. Nothing gets broken on midwatch or latewatch.

The "MetroSafe System" is more than just police. They will spend this money in ways that you could have NEVER imagined.

Wonder how much will be funneled to the arena for "Security Upgrades"? The Sports and Social Club probably is in need of some "security upgrades". Cordish might need some "security upgrades" for their pocketbook.

Oh, and don't forget about the secret contract kickbacks. Rest assured you will never get to see where it goes because of the smoke and mirrors.

Off Topic, but why is HullabaLOU paying overtime when nothing else does? Why can't I take a vacation at the end of August (IronMan)? Why are my off-days for Breeders Cup changed?

Why no overtime for all the other goofy things that leave each division with only 8 people working? That's right Louisville, there will only be about 70 officers collectively patrolling the streets of the entire county when IronMan and Breeders Cup come to town because all personnel are sent to the event to work their regular shift. Somebody is paying for security, where is the money going? John Boel, please find out, we all know you hate the police.
