White denied Atlanta police chief position

I'm stumped?

That guy should have retired at the end of the reporting period so he wouldn't mess up the stats. I'm glad he's looking at stats, because in years past there were certain people who wouldn't leave their cars except to take a report run or get food. Those people still avoid real policework whenever possible, but at least now they have to do something. When you're a ROD, you're a ROD-4-life.

This is the epitome of White's lackluster performance over the years. He is clueless as to what he people want or need. He is clueless as to who they are and he has no knowledge of neighborhoods outside his Forrest Hills home.

How can a man retire on this department and the Chief not know about it? How can a man work for Chief white for the past 7 years and he doesn't even recognize the name? Do you not do any type of exit interviews to find out why people are retiring? Do you not care enough to try and figure out if there is something wrong?

Apparently RCW only cares if someone has a stat or two. Let's not worry about if they patrolled their beat, if they know the people and merchants on their beat.....did you write any tickets?????? That is the important thing! I need to be able to lie to the mayor and tell him everyone is staying busy writing citations and doing other police type thingees so everything is ok.
