Will Atlanta hire Louisville's police chief Robert White?

So i assume Prosecutors, Attorneys, Judges should Dress like the thugs do when they are in Court just to get down on their level???????????????????? UGH NO! We should not lower our standards to get down on their level. You get more when you are dressed the part. And myself i have saw on the first 48 a Homicide detective wearing shorts, and a ball cap during the interview of a suspect. It does not look good.

Shirts and ties are not practical, unless in court....Investigating a crime scene an worrying about a stupid tie when leaning over a dead body, blood, evidence etc..is NONN SENSE and an old way of thinking....

Kahki's and golf shirt is perfectly fine, especially when it's 100 degree.

What you see on TV is Detectives getting called in to investigate murders..so if I am out at the mall or eating with my family....I will arrive wearing what I have on..not going home to change and waste an hour plus...I agree shorts should be off limits

With the 4 different uniforms beat cops wear now, why do people care...I agree beat officer should be allowed to wear shorts and golf shirts..I happier cop is a better cop. If Det. are solving cases then that is what it should be about.....suspects and victim's familes DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU ARE WEARING AS LONG AS U SOLVE THEIR CASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
