Before attacking someone's statements, try looking at all the research. Yes, relationship status does affect society's issues and the outcome of a kid. It's a whole field of social sciences called Sociology (heck Psychology would have a fair amount to say also).

Just because the individual is ultimately responsible for their own actions in life, doesn't negate the fact that factors influence. The previous comment was a statement on the importance of family and how society so easily dismisses the importance of such relationship. Us cops are perhaps the worst. Look at how many of us so easily get divorced and sleep around.

Although it will likely be misconstrued, none of my statement takes away the responsibility of the individual in this action, but rather is to defend the statement before that points out how important family life is to society, and to attack how easily it is dismissed. (as illustrated above). Textbooks are written for a reason. Truth is truth, now synchronize it.
