Is Louisville's police chief Robert White really that stupid?

I agree with this post. Its a shame that ANYONE on our dept can get away with any crime. It does bring a bit of dishonor to all the dept. I remember two city ofcs getting fired for stealing @ 450.00 from a vehicle (correct me please on the amount). How is this worse than 15000.00? Any theft should be dealt with with termination. It says we Will not lie cheat or steal nor tolerate those that do" on the walls in the academy. Maybe we should pay attention to that. Just my opinion. I just work here. Im as confused at most are with how somethings go down around here. One thing I can say is that 95% of the time I still like my job and cant see myself doing anything else.

I don't think you will outlast our major, nor will I. gotta like him a little because he knows the deal when a new mayor or chief comes in. good guy to us and don't think he plays politics too good either he just knows how to be a Cop. when you ask him what he is going to do when a new chief decides not to keep him on the staff he replies that he will go back to being a lieutenant in a division somewhere and do his best to help catch the bad guys. problem for us is we hear he is going to get moved, just hope whoever takes his place is half as good to us and lets us keep doing our job. I do agree with you and applaud your pointing out that you are and will always be the police and will try and do your part. More than what a lot of our felllow coworkers do anymore they are more worried about what they are not getting or don't have and who gets more than them.
