Is Louisville's police chief Robert White really that stupid?

Please don't act like you give two shits about the Black Police Officer's Organization or anyone associated with. Why do you care if any of the members come forward and become a victim of a theft crime when you don't even care for them or the organization? Also, Chief White does not have TOTAL POWER!! There were whites who apparently agreed with the Chief or Mattingly would have his job back, wouldn't he? Sure, the Chief may have endorsed a firing, but he is advised by a white legal advisor and I doubt if the fate of a white officer would be left in the hands of an all black merit board. So therefore, some whites thought Mattingly should be fired too. Otherwise, Mattingly would be the recipient of a hefty civil award now wouldn't he? It really bothers me when I hear white folks complain about reverse racism when they complain about blacks doing the same thing (I hate it even more when blacks do it). Look...there is racism in the world-no doubt about it, but your assertion that race played a role in each of these very different cases is presumptions. One last point, I personally do not think there should be a race-based organization on the police department, but if it were such a problem why hasn't the police department banned it? Because they don't want to be accused of being racist or insensitive? If the department banned the organization, it wouldn't be blacks protesting, it would be white-owned media making it a big story like blacks even cared. Now you're boxed in corner, so I'm a ****** now right?

Black officers do not own the police department. You should file a civil lawsuit claiming racial discrimination since you were not allowed to join the organization, but my guess is you were not really serious about joining. Rather, you were only attempting to make a political statement. I suggest you form a White Police Officers Organization and see who complains. Trust me, it will be white officers saying you're racist, not black officers.

No one gives 2 rats A## about who is in what organization on this department. So there was a black organization and not a white one. Personally never saw the issue because it was not one. We all work and when possible participate in other activities together. Do not know of one white or black officer on this department that has given even the slightest hint of a race problem. But of coure on this site we have a bunch of negative people spouting off at the mouth once again like a bunch of reporters theirselves about rumor bs. What about the 4 white officers that thumped the white guy from paducah? Was that a racial problem? One sergeant retires when it hits the fan and the other transfers after uhhhhhhh supposedly not handling the problem and misplacing the air. Hmmmmmmmmm. What would anyone have done to make it right, sounds like a no choice deal there and the only one left is a Sgt from that incident that played dumb. As far as you leaving the county, go ahead. Have to wonder though, why not get some of your coworkers together and do some work to make our streets safer no boss on this department has ever told me not to do police work nor can they.
